Requirements

The management board of Wistron wishes to implement an integrated, modern, and professional security  control solution to manage access for both people and vehicles, while also combining efficient time-attendance functionality.

A. Automated & Fast Parking Access Management 

With a very large number of employees, the volume of vehicles entering and exiting at the same  time each day is significantly high. Therefore, the company requires a more optimized vehicle access  control system. Especially during peak hours, the system must operate quickly and accurately to  ensure smooth traffic flow without causing congestion for employees.

Solution

ZKTeco deployed an automated parking management system with 8 motorcycle lanes using BGM1000  barriers and 1 dedicated car lane using the CMP200 barrier. All lanes are fully integrated with the LPRS1000  license plate recognition camera and the SpeedFace-V6 Pro [TI] terminal for facial verification, temperature  detection, and license plate reading.

Employees register their personal information and license plate numbers in advance. When arriving at  the gate, they simply authenticate their face via the SpeedFace-V6 Pro [TI] terminal. At the same time, the  LPRS1000 camera automatically captures the vehicle’s license plate, recognizes the plate number, and  compares it with the database. If both identification factors (face + license plate) match, the BGM1000 barrier  will automatically open, allowing vehicles to move in and out quickly, accurately, and securely. Additionally, the system is reinforced with an extra CMP200 barrier that is closed after peak hours and outside  working hours to further enhance site security.

B. Effective Pedestrian Access Control 

The Wistron factory in Ha Nam has a very large workforce, ranging from 20,000 to 30,000 employees  depending on the production period. With an extremely high volume of personnel entering and exiting at the  beginning and end of each shift, the company requires a pedestrian access control system that is both secure  and optimized for fast processing. The key objective of the management team is to ensure that the identity  verification process is conducted in a strict and accurate manner, while preventing congestion, crowding, or  disorder during peak shift-change hours.

Solution

ZKTeco deployed a pedestrian access control system featuring 16 TS5000A tripod security gates, integrated  with SpeedFace-V6 Pro [TI] access control devices for attendance and entry/exit verification via face  recognition or card.

The TS5000A is a tripod turnstile designed for smooth, stable, and energy-efficient operation, constructed  from stainless steel for enhanced durability and longevity. The system is installed at the main entrances and  internal lobbies to tightly control employee movement. Only when an employee successfully verifies their  identity on the SpeedFace-V6 Pro [TI] will the TS5000A turnstile arm rotate, allowing one person at a time —  ensuring safe, orderly, and precise access management.

All devices are fully synchronized and centrally managed through the All-in-One ZKBio CVSecurity platform,  enabling comprehensive monitoring and management of operations, including vehicle entry/exit control and  door access with attendance tracking.
